A friend of mine showed me this video, and I had to share it with you all.  While it is quite humorous, it most certainly is relatable in some way to both black men and women. 

What are your thoughts on the message relayed in this video? Is this a good representation of black dating & relationships today? Leave comments and share your opinions

First I just want to say this video is very one-sided and that's all I will say about that. Second, if black ppl want to have a healthy relationship they need to be able to communicate. They have to listen so they can talk to through their problems. They need to be able to make fair compromises on both sides and not take advantage of each other weaknesses.

Watching this video, I couldn't but realize the lack in communication. The woman was portrayed as contradicting in her thoughts of what she wants in a man. I would agree that yes, women do ask for these things, however, men do the same. Some of his responses were incoherent and short. Marriage cannot be one-sided, and it does take negotiation, cooperation, sacrifice, etc. Also, I believe this applies not just to the blacks but all races/ethnicities.
