Yep...it's time for school to start again. I'm going into this semester with mixed feelings, but I'm still optimistic. Though I believe I will do very well, I know it will take every bit of concentration and hard work to get it done.
Let's face it: I've piled my plate pretty high so far in 2010. Planning community summits across the state, booking speaking engagements, and building a non-profit organization from the ground up is no easy task when considering the realities of 18 hours of classes on top of extracurriculars such as Mock Trial, Phi Alpha Delta, and Kappa Alpha Psi. Just pray for my endurance and strength...lol Seriously though, pray for me!
The good thing about working hard is that it pays off in the end, and with all that I have in front of me, I look forward to all that is to come.
I truly hope and pray that everyone has a great semester and that we all learn, grow, and become better individuals as the year progresses.
I'll keep you updated as much as possible...God bless!
This holiday was like any other in my family...gifts, fellowship & FOOD!!! This year, we hosted both sides of my family for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner, and that's why our kitchen is filled with leftovers and desserts. My stomach hurts just THINKING about all the food that's in there...
It has been kind of different from other years for me. I've always enjoyed time with family, but I guess now that I'm older and see my aunts and uncles getting older, I find myself drawn to being around more often. Events in my life are slowly but surely transitioning me into that next phase of adulthood. Time definitely does fly...
